বিসিএস বা যেকোন প্রতিযোগিতামূলক পরিক্ষায় এমন কিছু প্রশ্ন আসে যা সবার কাছে দ্বিধা দ্বন্ধের কারন হয়ে দাড়ায়। সাধারণত কোন বাক্যে To থাকলে To এর পর Verb এর Base Form বসে। কিন্তু কিছু Expressions আছে যেগুলোর শেষে To থাকা সত্ত্বেও এই Expression গুলোর পরপরই যদি কোন Verb বসে তাহলে সেখানে Verb এর Base Form না বসে Verb এর সাথে ing যোগ হয়। নিচে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কিছু উদাহরণ দেওয়া হলো।

Be given to: He is given to shouting when he is angry.

Due to: He got cancer due to smoking too much.

Feel up to: I don't feel up to walking there; let's take a taxi.

Go back to: When the baby was born, he went back to wetting his bed.

Go a long way to; Love goes a long way to dealing with problems.
